Hi
Our product cannot send email with big attachments as it is. It sends the partial emails and OE used to merge the same. In one of the scenarios, i am receiving around 630 partial mails in OE each attachment size of 43KB. But OE is not able to merge the same. Request you to let me know if this is a bug or is there any limitation on OE?? |

I don't know what you mean by *our product*, and you mention sending and
receiving as if the same problem. 1: Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that eats up CPUs, slows down sending and receiving, and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs, account setting changes and has even been responsible for lose of messages. Your up-to-date A/V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. For more, see: http://www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 2: Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced. If you are sending messages in parts, uncheck: "Break apart messages............". 3: If you received a message that in is parts, select Message on the Menu Bar and Combine & Decode. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Srinivas R" Srinivas wrote in message ... I think the limitation in OE for Combine and Decode is 256 parts.
A work around is to do it in chunks. Use Combine and Decode for a 200 or so parts, then in the resulting combined message, do File, Save As to EML file. Repeat for the next chunk. In this case you should end up with 3 EML files. Then drag those into a OE folder and do the combine on the 3 messages. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Srinivas R" Srinivas wrote in message ...
