I am using Microsoft Outlook. If I send an email with an attachment or a
picture imbedded in the email to someone using Outlook Express the attachment
is dropped. What needs to be set, and where, to have the attachments delivered

That 's a question you would have to ask in an Outlook newsgroup, but the
most common reason would be that the sender (you) is using the RTF format
which is unreadable in Outlook Express. Either switch to using HTML or
Plain Text for sending mail messages.

I'm not sure what you mean by /dropped/, but if you are using Outlook's RTF
format, Outlook Express can not understand it. Use Plain Text in conjunction
with the attachment.
