Get yourself a free spell check. I have used the one at the first link for
years.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=2952

http://www.tinyspell.m6.net/ (Checks the spelling as you type).

Duplicate messages.

For Hotmail, or IMAP accounts:

Tools | Options | General tab. Uncheck either: When starting, go directly to
my Inbox folder or, Send and receive messages at startup.

For a POP3 account, see:

There's also a free spell checker for OE direct from Microsoft. It's called
ieSpell -- I came across it while rummaging through their "Windows Catalog"
area...
