When accessing my hotmail folders via Outlook Express 6, I always get the
system hanging fire and then receive the error message' an unknown error has occurred'. If I try again immediately I then get through. I have tried reinstalling the programme and reinstalling the hotmail account but no change. Any ideas? |

It's a bug, usually only seen when OE polls the MSN/Hotmail server for the
first time in a session. No fix. Workaround: Keep OE open and configured to poll the account(s) on a schedule (e.g., every 30 minutes). -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) Guy wrote: When accessing my hotmail folders via Outlook Express 6, I always get the system hanging fire and then receive the error message' an unknown error has occurred'.
