Default Message rule not working??

I set a message rule that all email messages from a specified account
(gmail.com) would go to a specific folder I set up (Gmail). But the gmail
messages go to the general Inbox folder, not the Gmail folder I set up. Any
ideas on a solution??

In general:

Have all rules that divert mail to folders first.

Delete it from server next.

All others last.

Make sure that every rule also has Stop processing more rules checked,
unless that option is grayed out.

How to set up OE Message Rules:

it's working now - thanks (seems ticking the Stop processing more rules did
the trick - although I don't know why it did - there are no more Rules I had
established).

You're welcome. It was probably searching for more rules and went to the
Inbox when it couldn't find any. Glad it's fixed.
