I have three hotmail accounts that I all the sudden can not access.
My internet has been having issues at home for about 6-7 months now, but I have been accessing my hotmail through OE6 at work. I recently got Bellsouth DSL hooked up, so I decided to get on OE and do a send/recieve on my accounts wich were still setup. I am not getting any type of error. It simply keeps asking me to re-enter my password. I'm not getting the message about new accounts not having accessed OE before like I got with a new name I tried to create, and I am still able to go to work and send/recieve without problems. Is this the same thing as the people who are getting the error about not being able to pool the server? Regsvr32 %windir%\system32\msxml3.dll |

I have IE7 and OfficeXP, but I also have IE7 and OfficeXP on my computer at
work. And yes, like I said, I can access it at work in OE6 without any problems. "PA Bear" wrote: Windows version? IE version? Is KB904942 installed on the machine in question?
Authentication fails when you use Outlook or Outlook Express to try to log on to a HTTP-based mail server if you use Internet Explorer version 7.0: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/904942 -- ~PA Bear Sonic98 wrote: I have IE7 and OfficeXP, but I also have IE7 and OfficeXP on my computer at work. Yes, I saw this last night. I was going to try it this morning, but I have
not had a chance yet. I will check it out and see what happens "PA Bear" wrote: Is KB904942 installed on the machine in question? I have another issue with this as well. I have a fourth hotmail account that
I rarely checked from Outlook or OE, but I have used it with both. For some reason it's giving me the error about not using OE with new accounts. I don't really a reason to subscribe and account I've already used for years with OE and Outlook. "Sonic98" wrote: Yes, I saw this last night.
