Grab the hard drive from the other computer and put it in the new computer,
if the old hard drive is not dead.

If you have a backup see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#4 if its for Outlook
Express. If its for Outlook you need the pst file and Outlook has to be
installed on the computer.

If the old HDD is truly dead, you're probably out of luck, Linwood.

If you can recover the OE data, see these references:

No backup. Why doesn't it work like Hotmail where I can pull up all my
folders on any computer around the world?

Default Importing from a dead computer.

The files in OE and OL were stored locally on the now deceased hard drive.

If by chance on of the accounts was an Http account(msn or hotmail only) and in use on either application then separate files(OE) or a file(OL) were created on the dead drive for the http account. Only the files residing on the server(hotmail) would be available.. If an http account viewing in the web interface(hotmail.com) or setting up the same http account on another computer in OE or OL should yield a synchronization between the server and the newly setup OE or OL account.

Default Importing from a dead computer.

Because Hotmail messages are stored on a server and when you download your
POP3 messages they are then removed from the server and stored on your hard
drive, which is now dead.

Next time backup your important data, as hard drives fail all the time.
