I have been told that Windows Express Update will install IE7.
I vaguely recall that IE7 is not a good thing. But I don't know any specifics. Is there truly any reason to avoid IE7? Do I need to do anything special during or after installing IE7 in order for OE to work cleanly? (My understanding is that OE is part of IE6, but not IE7.) Are there any (other) hiccups to be aware of during or after installing IE7? PS: What is the rationale for including a product update (IE7 replacing IE6) among "critical" updates? Does IE7 fix any critical problem in IE6? Just curious.... |
