When sending an email with attachment of say, 1mb or more, is it possible to
see without watching the small icon transmitting with pale blue monitor on
pale blue monitor? What positive indication is there of completion of
'sent'.

Hello,

Click on Send/Recv on the toolbar button while the icon is appearing at the
bottom. You should now see a progress bar with the status if Outlook Express
is in the process of sending a large mail.

A positive indication would be that the mail you sent will be moved from the
Outbox to the Sent Items folder.

The mail has actually moved from the out box to sent box but the pale blue
monitors are still showing !!?? Also in the status page it is still
transmitting ??
