Bruce,
Thanks so much for entertaining myh questions and concerns. I'll try the new identity method. 1) How do I go about doing that and moving my dbx files? 2) Do I also move or import .iaf and .wab files? 3) Why did you focus on hijack? Is my font problem charertic of that? thanks again for being so patient and caring w/ my concerns! I hope Microsoft comps you w/ products for all the time you spend helping us! "Bruce Hagen" wrote: You said the problem existed in another computer and now in this one after moving all the files. That was the main issue addresses in Vista's WinMail. About the worst thing you can do to OE is use products by Norton, or McAfee, and Norton may well have something to do with your problem. I suggest AVG Free: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5 or: http://www.grisoft.com/doc/40/lng/ww When prompted, choose Custom Installation and *uncheck* e-mail scanning when you see the option. Norton, and McAfee, products are not Outlook Express friendly, and I don't know of any OE-MVP that would recommend using them. In my initial post on this thread I said I was fully patched for XP Pro, OE, and Office 2003 Pro. Use NIS 2007 & Spysweeper. Would appreciate getting clarification on this question from prior posting (thanks!): QUESTION: Does copying all dbx files to another area solve corruption issue? I ask b/c this past week I copied all dbx files from older computer to this new one and the TNR problem still exits.
