I use Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2180 (xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158)
I also access newsgroups via two different servers: news.verizon.net vroc.org (private) From time to time, I'll reply to a message on a newsgroup hosted by one server and OE automatically chooses the other server as the outgoing carrier if you will... I have to copy the newsgroup name, change servers in the "News Server" box, and either paste the newsgroup name back in or re-type it. Doesn't seem to matter which one I'm in, it randomly happens in both from what I can tell. Any way to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated... It's killing my efficiency. ![]() Regards, Joe Agro, Jr. (800) 871-5022 01.908.542.0244 Automatic / Pneumatic Drills: http://www.AutoDrill.com Multiple Spindle Drills: http://www.Multi-Drill.com V8013-R |

I'm not sure if this will be the fix, but visit Windows Updates ASAP. You
are running an older, less secure version of OE. Of all the updates missing, no less that four of them directly affect OE. Turn off your anti-virus program while downloading to insure a clean install. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Joe AutoDrill" wrote in message news:rLhKh.2084$y56.314@trnddc07...
