Default Restore .dbx Files Problem

I do not know but for some reason Outlook Express has wiped out my entire in
box and I have lost all my in messages- my sent box is fine and intact

Outlook Express opened as if I was using it for the first time

How can I retrieve my lost in book messages which I do not want to loose

Many thanks

Michael
