Why am I unable "to connect to server" with any of the ng's in 'aioe.org'?
A few days ago I could connect, but not send a reply.
Appreciate an answer and a fix, if possible.

Harry.

1: What is your Windows version?

2: What is the entire error message?

Bruce:

OS: WinME.

Error message (with the exclamation mark in a yellow triangle):

"Unable to connect to the server".

Configuration:
Account: nntp.aioe.org
Server: nntp.aioe.org
Protocol: NNTP
Port: 119
Secure(SSL): 0
Code: 800ccc0e

Might be what Sunny touched upon, but still would like to know why I
couldn't send replies.

Harry.

It may well be the news server. I only use MSnews and that occasionally
happens to me. If rebooting, or resetting your modem, (unplug the power.
Wait 30 seconds, and plug it back in), doesn't work, try removing the
account in Tools | Accounts | News, reboot and add it back.

Will try that, Bruce, thank you.
In case the problem would persist, "I shall return".

Harry.

They often have hiccups, I can't connect with them ATM.
(Was OK yesterday and will probably be OK tomorrow) :-)
