Default Missing newsgroup messages

I have post a message using Microsofts webbased discussion groups but I
cannot see it using Outlook Express or google groups.
I posted the message on March, 26 in newsgroup
microsoft.public.windows.64bit.general in the thread with subject “XP x64
wont start after sp2” started on March, 19.
I see this message together with another message from March, 25 in
Microsofts webbased newsreader. However, I do not see it in Outlook Express
and in other newsgroup readers.
What is going on here?

Klaus

Use OE for posting and reading. If you use the MS Web Communities and post a
message with the same subject as another, it can get tagged on to another
post when you use OE to view it.

There are ongoing problems synching posts between the web based system
and NNTP accessed servers (e.g. Outlook Express). Sometimes are worse
than others, and the last day or two have been bad.

Thanks Bruce,

Actually, I prefer OE for news because it is faster and easier. The only
reason to use the webbased solution is preventing spam. Where does your
e-mail address come from?

In OE: Tools | Accounts | News | General | Address Field. Use a munged
address to avoid spam and people replying to you directly. You don't need a
valid e-mail address to post through OE.

In your case, lid would be a good choice.
