My OE won't spell check. The option is Greyed out and F7 won't work.

there is no spell check built into OE. you need to have an office type application installed.
or install a 3rd party program \.
you can do a google search for email spell checker programs.

Default No Spell Check

OE 6 does not come with it's own spell check. You need Word or an MS Office
program. The spell checker in Works 4 through 6 will work with OE, but not
other editions. If you do not have such a program, you can download a free
spell check at one of these sites.

TinySpell:
http://www.tinyspell.m6.net/ (Checks the spelling as you type).

Default No Spell Check

Thnaks both of you. I wondered about that when I sent the messages.
It makes sense too. This computer is just a test computer to test some
software so I don't have much on it.
