Above the message body, do you see the bar that says, "Some pictures have
been blocked.............."? Click on that bar to see the pictures.

The purpose of this is to block the SpamBots that can verify your address
just by opening HTML spam. If you don't care about that, Tools | Options |
Security. Uncheck: "Block images...........".

Good to see you finally got around to SP2, but please don't stop now. You
have a lot of patches at Windows Updates waiting for you and no less than
four directly affect Outlook Express. I suggest closing all other programs
and turning off your anti-virus to insure a clean install of the updates.

I do not see the message some pictures have been blocked. I did the uncheck
thing but still am receiving the little boxes with the red X. I have also
downloaded all available info from Microsoft as I have auto update and
install enabled.

Your Auto Update is not working. From your message headers, you are missing
numerous patches and no less than four directly affect Outlook Express. You
are running a very old and less secure version of OE. Visit Windows Updates
ASAP.
