After going onto broadband recently and setting up Norton Internet Security I
find that going into Outlook Express 6 and send/receive I can receive messages ok but get the following error messages ; Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'pop.freeserve.net', Server: 'smtp.freeserve.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F and There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'pop.freeserve.net', Server: 'pop.freeserve.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR unknown command', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92 -- I have tried all sorts and just can't fathom out what is causing this problem Can anyone advise or have you suffered a similar problem ??
