I would like to know: How can I find a free server that provides a
specific newsgroup?

Eg. I know that there is the NG alt.satellite.gps.garmin
(http://groups.google.de/group/alt.sa...opics?lnk=gsch
g&hl=de)
but how can I find a server that I can enter in OE?

if your isp news server does not carry it, you might ask them to do so.
check with them for setup on news groups/server information.

That's a bit of a weird one, Pooh Bear......when I saw K-Man, I left.

Try Motzarella News or Aioe.org if you want a freebie that you can also
use to post. A lot of them are *read only*. I prefer Motzarella
myself.
