Default Looking for Newsgroup Spam Eliminator

I enjoy reading some newsgroups, like at.home.repair. However, they
frequently get spammed by some perverts.

Invariably the spam messages are directed to a number of newsgroups, not
just one.

There used to a program http://www.nfilter.org/faq.html. It could be set to
block any message that was addressed to more than 2 newsgroups. However,
when I downloaded the installation .exe it tells me that it is not a valid
win 32 application. Obsolete, I guess.

With OE6, I can only put these spammers into the blocked list. There must be
a better way, there are too many spammers.

Does anyone know of a similar, free program that can be used to block
messages that are addressed to more than one group?
