I can't delete two recently received email messages (from same computer).
Computer freezes and have to reboot. Ran sfc /scannow, no improvement. Have been getting Stop Error on blue screen several times since these emails arrived. ..dbx files are NOT read-only checked. Haven't gotten into regedit yet and would rather not. AVG did locate 4 trojans "TIBS4" which were supposedly "healed". Got 10% free space on my 10 Gb hd. Annoying situation, what suggestions? And thanks! |

Hello,
Inbox.dbx may be corrupt - transfer your messages in inbox to another folder as the next step will reset your Inbox. Go to your message store folder (Tools Options Maintenance Store Folder). Close Outlook Express and delete Inbox.dbx in the Store folder. Restart Outlook Express and Inbox.dbx should be recreated automatically. -- Singapore Website Design http://www.bootstrike.com/Webdesign/ Singapore Web Hosting http://www.bootstrike.com/WinXP/faq.html Windows XP FAQ "MarkB" wrote in message news ![]() I can't delete two recently received email messages (from same computer). Go to View | Layout and disable the Preview Pane. Then highlight the
messages in the message list window without opening them and do a Shift-Delete to get rid of them. If you cannot delete any messages, then you need to delete the deleted items.dbx file (hidden) with OE closed and it will make a new one. steve "MarkB" wrote in message news ![]() I can't delete two recently received email messages (from same computer).
