Default Contact in Adress book

Hi,

One thing that annoyed me from the beginning of OE was that when you are
trying to add a contact to the Address book you get the notice that the
contact is already there when it isn't there.

How to fix that problem?

Thanks,

Amnon

Hi Amnon,

Have you looked at the Address Book via desktop Start / Programs /
Accessories / AddressBook.

When address book opens, notice there is *Show All Contents* under the File
menu.

Wow,,, If you didn't find the missing contact in the *Show All Contents*
screen then I guess the address book is corrupt.

After getting into the *Show All Contents* (window) screen, did you try to
use Find People under the Edit menu, inputting only the first portion of
missing contact e-mail address. Such as just inputting only wilensky in the
e-mail field should find your address.

Post back if you need instructions on how to create a new address book.

Note: before doing anything be sure to backup existing address book.
