Default MIME Problems

when i attach a word doc to my email and send it, the recipient receives it
in MIME format. how do i resolve this?

More information needed.
Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express.
Does the recipient have Word or a Word Viewer?
Is it the same edition od Word as you are using?
Is the recipient using Outlook or Outlook Express.

Default MIME Problems

i'm using outlook express 6.0 and word 2002. i've sent the attachement to
people with hotmail,yahoo, and comcast accounts. none cane receive it in the
proper format regardless of the version of word they have.

Any decent mail program can handle MIME encoded messages, except for those
sent with Outlook's RTF format. If you really want to turn off MIME
encoding in OE go to Tools | Options | Send. Set mail sending to plain text
and set it for Uuencode.
