Default Can Windows Mail use OE filestore?

I'm using Vista and XP on a dual boot system and I've discovered the Outlook
Express is not provided/supported with Vista - rather a similar looking
application called Windows Mail is used.

Is there any way of using the same mail filestore on a dual boot system that
uses Outlook Express and Windows Mail? Previously, when using OE on 2
system, I have just been able to poin the file locations to the same
filestore.

Is it still possible to use the OE mail files with Windows Mail?

Gareth.

Windows Mail can import from the OE files. See

The file stores are NOT compatible/sharable.

OE uses DBX files where there is one Operating System file per OE
folder.

Windows Mail uses EML files where there is one Operating System filer
per message.

You can import the OE DBX files into Windows Mail and WM EML files can
be dragged into OE. But you'll have to do manual work to keep them in
synch.
