Thanks, Bruce. The last one sounds the most likely, since I can get
pictures from anyone else without the Red X. I'll have to find out if the sender has problems with other recipients seeing the pictures. "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... There are a few possibilities. Some are on the sender's end, and some may be on your end. See these links for information: http://www.fjsmjs.com/IE/redx.htm And: http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/faqs/why.htm#nopreview And: http://www.oehelp.com/noimg.aspx And: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=246186 -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "Joy" wrote in message ... There is one person from whom I receive e-mails, and when pictures are included (in the body of the e-mail, not as an attachment) I seem to always be getting the "Red X". This does not happen when I receive similar e-mails from anyone else. Could it be some setting on the sender's end? |
