I am trying to use Outlook Express 6 on Windows XP. My employer provided me
with the PC. When I open a message, nothing displays in the message body and when I place the cursor over the message body area, the cursor changes to the busy cursor. I can see the message content using the File Properties Details Message Source. I seems like Outlook Express is not able to render the message content whether it is html or plain text. I tried running "regsvr32 inetcomm.dll", but that did not correct the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

Is the machine fully up-to-date at Windows Update?

I used Windows Update to make make sure that there was nothing missing. That
did not correct the problem. The problem exists for a new identity. The problem existed on my old PC. There may be some setting, or some missing file, that my company uses in their desktop build that causes the problem. My company supports other e-mail clients, but not Outlook Express, so the help desk could not help me. "PA Bear" wrote: Is the machine fully up-to-date at Windows Update?
