Please post the entire error message, and specify if you have a problem with
Outlook, or Outlook Express. They are different programs. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "UPINYA" wrote in message ... Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'mail.insightbb.com', Server: 'mail.insightbb.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F And I use Outlook Exp. Any suggestions? Please help. "Bruce Hagen" wrote: Please post the entire error message, and specify if you have a problem with Outlook, or Outlook Express. This is usually caused by scanning e-mail, or an anti-spam program.
Turn off e-mail scanning in your anti-virus program. It is a redundant layer of protection that eats up CPUs and causes a multitude of problems such as time-outs and account setting changes. Your up-to-date A/V program will continue to protect you sufficiently. It had to do with how the new account was setup as it wasn't right. I called my ISP and they walked me through it and it works fine now. |
