There was a program I used that used to open and receive mail on outlook
express after mailwasher had sifted the mail but Firetrust don't seem to
know about it now. It was only a very small program that processed mail on
to OE after going through Mailwasher.Anybody know if it's still available
please?

Never heard of such a thing, and don't know why it would be necessary.
Doesn't MW clean things up enough that you don't need another helper
application between it and MS Outlook Express? What function did that
mysterious application serve?

Nothing mysterious about it Norm, it merely made the send/receive activate
after opening OE. I was using it up till last week when my system crashed
and it now appears to have vanished from anywhere on the internet

If polling is enabled in OE, the send/receive occurs automatically when
OE is started. A poll interval includes polling at zero time (when the
program is loaded). If you chose to disable the "Check mail every N
minutes" option then reenable it.

Yes I have searched and even Mailwasher who first alerted me to the program
years ago have deleted all knowledge of it. It must be so simple if you can
program; I can't!
