Default msimn.exe - Application Error

I have been getting the following message box
msimn.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x7c83b07d" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be "read".
whenever I try to create a new email.

It is being reported by ntdll.dll!RtlCopyLuid()+0x19 bytes.

Also, my Default Signature is empty. When I try to put something in and
click on OK or Apply, I get the following Message Box:

DirectDBNotifyWndProc: msimn.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x7c83b07d" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be "read".

These are both at the same address. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,

Default msimn.exe - Application Error

Start he http://www.insideoe.com/problems/errors.htm#crash

General OE Caveats:

- Don't use Inbox or Sent Items to archive messages. Move them to local
folders created for this purpose.

- Empty Deleted Items folder daily.

- Disable Background Compacting [N/A in SP2] and frequently perform a manual
compact of all OE folders while "working offline". More at
http://www.insideoe.com/files/maintain.htm.

- WinXP SP2 only: Do not attempt to close OE via Task Manager or shutdown
your machine if Automatic Compacting is taking place.

- Your anti-virus application's email scanning feature can also cause
corruption. Disable it. It provides no additional protection.
