HTTP rules must be applied at the Website. And, there will not be a new
version of OE. Vista uses Windows Mail. Better in some respects, not in
others.

And there is Windows Live Mail. Still in Beta, so proceed at your own risk.

I am using Windows Live Mail (beta). There are 2 Hotmail (HTTP)
accounts defined in WLM. When I look at defining rules which include
the "where the message is from the specified account", the drop-down
list does not include the Hotmail accounts. So rules in WLM still do
not support HTTP accounts.

Server-side rules is all you get. Of course, to be really restrictive
in who can send you e-mail and almost guarantee no spam gets through,
enable the "Exclusive" junk option. Only folks listed in your address
book can get their e-mails into your Inbox.
