Start | Programs. Right click on Outlook Express and Send To | Desktop
(create shortcut).

If that doesn't work:

Right click on the Desktop | New | Shortcut. Browse to *C:\Program
Files\Outlook Express\MSIMN.EXE* Click Next | Click Finish. A new shortcut
will be on the desktop.

OE is not listed in Start | Programs. In the C:\Program Files\Outlook
Express\ folder, there is no MSIMN.EXE file listed. I did a search in
C:\Program Files for MSIMN.EXE and got "no results to display" response.

I can call up IE and under Tools, choose "news" and OE comes up. So far
that is the only way I can get OE up. I want to be able to call up OE
without having to call up IE.

Any other suggestions please?

Right click on the Desktop | New | Shortcut. Paste "C:\Program Files\Outlook
Express\msimn.exe" without the quotes in the location box. Click Next |
Click Finish. A new shortcut will be put on the desktop.

There is NO MSIMN.EXE on disk, seems to be gone with XP SP2
Anyone knows the name of the EXE for OE6 ?
Obviously there must be one as it works via the start menu

What do you mean by *seems to be gone with XP SP2*? Are you using XP/SP2?
