My server timeout is set for 1 minute.
I do not get an error message when I lose my connection to the server. I have to exit the program and then re-enter in order to retrieve the messages and some times do this more than once. Eventually I receive all messages "Michael Santovec" wrote in message ... The Server Timeout is how long OE will wait for a response from the server before OE will consider that the connection to the server has been lost and give up the send and receive. One to 2 minutes is reasonable. Do you get any error message when this happens? If you try the send and receive again, do the messages eventually all come through? If so, it's likely a problem with the mail server. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "lebrad" wrote in message news:fNBEi.138442$fJ5.12399@pd7urf1no... When downloading multiple messages, often my e-mail disconnects from the server part way through. I have tried increasing my server timeout but this does not seem to help. Any ideas. |
