Default importing Outlook pst files - without Outlook disc to reinstall!

Hi - hope there is someone out there who can help! Have just replaced our
dekstop pc. The old pc hard drive has been put in the new pc - I have even
found what I think is the folder that contains all my old stored emails.
What I can't do is import them into Outlook which is now managing my emails.
Is there any way this can be done without the Outlook disc?

Outlook and Outlook Express are entirely different programs. You will get
better help in an MS Outlook newsgroup:

Current Windows version?

Was Outlook Express or Outlook your default Mail Client on the old machine?

If you mean that on your old PC you were using Outlook97/98/2000+ (part
of Office) and on your new PC you are using Outlook Express (OE), you
will not be able to import the Outlook PST file into Outlook Express
unless you install Outlook first and get the PST file working there.

OE can only import from a work version of Outlook on the same PC.
