I assume the OE 6 Win XP Home email messages are stored in the following
folder: Docs & Settings | Owner | Local Settings | Application Data | Identities | {Gibberish} | Microsoft | Outlook Express This folder contains a set of files with extension dbx So, if I want to preserve the email messages against the possibility of a subsequent computer crash, I assume that this folder is sufficient. Q1. Is my assumption correct? Q2. I note that the Identities folder contains TWO subfolders:\\{Gibberish 1} | Microsoft | OE, and a similar but different {Gibberish 2} | Microsoft | OE Each OE folder appears to hold the same files. What's going on? Can backing up one of the sets suffice? -- PT |
