Default newsgroup and mails etup on OE6

I have managed to mess up both on my computer. Is there somewhere with a simple step by step proceedure, I can visit to correct this?

For instance, in Newsgroups I am being told I am posting in html. I have both ticked to send without html. There is a tool bar inside the letter area when I try to respond in a NG. I don't know how I got that there.

In my email I only receive plainext, no html. I need to ifx this.

Thanks for any light you can shed.

This was in HTML and Reading and Sending are different. Tools | Options |
Send | News Sending Format. Select the Plain Text radio button.

You must have just changed it. Your first post was in HTML, and now this one
is in Plain Text like it should be.

Thank you All,
Please continue helping.
I don't use Outlook, but came here to help Betsy get her problems sorted.
She has the toolbar issue outstanding please.

Betsy,
Usually, I either X (top right corner) it out OR drag it back up to the
top of the menu items.
Depends what toolbar it is .
If you point (do not click, just point) at an ICon, on the toolbar, what
does it say?

The tool bar does not appear here? On our NG it shows. Tool bar will not
drag anywhere.
It contains:
The dropdown for lettering choices, Font size, the symbol for left,
center or right side formatting of wording, B, the Italic symbol, the
Underline symbol, A and eleven others I don't recognise

I found the culprit but in my fuzzy mind I can't say what got removed
other than Formatting Toolbar? It's gone and thanks to all.

Betsy
