OE only reports what the server tells it. If you want something more
accurate look at Lines instead of Size. Lines comes from the message
headers.

with a specific news server. I will call and find out what is going on.

The MS server used to give a minimum size of 4K, even for blank messages. I
think because that was the cluster size.
