It depends on what your problem is. Click on the news server and in the
Newsgroup display field, type in what you want to narrow down the choices. For OE, type in outlookexpress, for XP, type in xp, etc. Hotmail questions can be asked here as well as the MSN Discussion newsgroup, which is sometimes a better choice If you are unsure what group you should be posting in, feel free to ask which one you should use here. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "David of IC" wrote in message ... 10/12/07......... Is your folder tree enabled at the left of the Preview Pane? If you use
MSNews, you will see msnews.microsoft.com with the groups you are subscribed to underneath. Left click on msnews.microsoft.com and you will see a page with three boxes near the top. The middle one is Newsgroups. Click on that and all 2200 or so MS newsgroups will be listed. Continue as you would in Help. If you want an XP newsgroup, type in XP in the search bar and the list will be narrowed gown to only groups with XP in their name. You can then select Go To, or Subscribe for the group you want to have that newsgroup added to your folder tree and the messages downloaded. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "David of IC" wrote in message ...
