One of the column headings has a little triangle.
The column with the triangle is doing the sorting. Click once on the column header that you want. Click again to make the sort reverse. -- Ronald Sommer "veryconfused" wrote in message ... Thanks Ron,
I tried what you suggested for me to do, but that just messed my Inbox List up even more. Before I messed it up myself, my Inbox List, had my newest e-mails, by dates at the top of the List, with the oldest e-mails by dates at the bottom of it. Any idea of how to fix it? Other than what you have suggested here for me to do, once again, Thanks. veryconfused "Ron Sommer" wrote: One of the column headings has a little triangle. Clicking on any of the TITLES Words will sort all mail based on the column you clicked on.
If you click on NAME, all mail will be sorted by the senders name. If you click on SUBJECT, all mail will be sorted by subject. etc. Now to sort by DATE, just click on the work DATE. But be aware that each time you click on the "Title" word the sort reverses it self. i.e. newest to oldest on first click, then oldest to newest on the second click and back to newest at the top on the third click. Be careful when selecting the top most mail as you will very close to the Title Words. "veryconfused" wrote in message ... You're welcome. If you accidentally click on one of the columns in the bar
above the top message header, that will change it. You can get it back the same way, as the others were explaining, but this way is easier to understand, especially in a post. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "veryconfused" wrote in message ...
