Default logging

when I log into my mail program it asks for my name and password and nothing
I can remember works. I CAN SEND BUT NOT RECEIVE. what can I do?

please help

Sounds like your mail service name/password is being asked for. If it
were the OE identity password, you wouldn't get in at all and be able to
send.

Your mail service name is generally your e-mail address. Some require
the full e-mail address , others just want the user
part

The password is often case sensitive. So ABC and Abc and abc are not
the same password.

Call your mail service (ISP) and ask for help. They can either provide
your password or reset it to some known value.
