Default Problem with address book

Hi --

This is not life-threatening but somewhat annoying as I thought I was fully
competent in Outlook Express.

I am set to automatically add a recipient to the address book whenever I
send them the first message. Now I have a situation where an entry is
missing. When I attempt to add it manually by right-clicking, a window
indicates that it is already there. I have combed through the address book
repeatedly and searched on all fields and it is just not there. I was able
to add it manually by entering the recipient's full name and email address,
which should then have been a duplicate entry, but only that one is there.

Can anyone suggest why this is happening?

Thanks.

Default Problem with address book

Start, Run, wab /a
View, check Folders and Groups
Expand the folders and try to locate the address.

OE can be configured to add the address of the recipient when you're reply
in to his/her message but not when you're sending a New Message.

Is MS Office and/or MS Outlook also installed?
