If you click the Favorites button on the tool bar it is supposed to open
as a side tool bar. You can adjust the width of that panel by placing the cursor on the divider line until it changes to a 2 headed arrow then drag either left or right. If you click the word Favorites on the menu list, that gives you a drop down list..
