Default .wps document borders don't show in emails

Thanks for your reply - I tried sending in plain text as you suggested but
the result is the same - text and pictures show OK but still no borders show
in the sent email

I have tried emailing documents with page and paragraph borders, but the
borders don't show in emails received on a computer with Word. The documents
were created with Works - I tried saving them in different formats (.rtf and
.doc) but the result is still the same - pictures show up OK but not the
borders. Please, does anyone know if there is any way I can get the borders
to show?

You might try posting in the Works newsgroup. It's not really an
e-mail issue. It's likely an incompatibility between Works file formats
and Word. If there is a workaround, the Works people might know.

Use the following newsgroup for questions or problems with Microsoft
Works
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.works.win

You can also access the newsgroup via the web interface he
http://www.microsoft.com/products/works/newsgroup.mspx
(although the web page mentions Works 8, the newsgroup applies to all
versions of Works for Windows)
