Default Inability to send and recieve messages with OE

Hello group
I would like to ask if anybody here can give me an idea about this
pesky problem where the internet just shuts down when I open the
OE.That is during the time when this facility is sending and
retrieving mail.
This did not happen when I was connected to the dial up but only when
using the GSM cellphone internet connection. I have asked this matter
from internet provider but he can't give me any clue about this
peculiarity.

The error message is like this:
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible
causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long
period of inactivity. Account: 'mail.google.com', Server:
'mail.google.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket
Error: 10053, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
Received reported error(0x800402900); The server name you entered
cannot be found on the network( it might be down temporarily). Verify
that you are online and th at the server name is correct.
Task http: synchronizing headers; reported error (0x800ccc0d): The
server cannot be found.'
Task Receiving reported error(0x80042900); The server named you
entered cannot be found on the network ( it might be down temporarily)
Verify that you are online and the server name is correct.

Is there anybody here familiar with this gibberish can decipher its
meaning.?
TIA
