The first fix didn't fix the problem. I use Outlook Express as my mail
client. I am able to email from other apps, so I'm not sure editing the registry will fix my particular problem. Idid find this at MS, which identifies the error prompt verbatim, but it refers to Outlook, and not Outlook Express. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/813745/en-us Would the fix be the same/similiar ? I do have Outlook installed via Office 2000, but have never used it. Thanks again, -- Steve Mc DNA to SBC to respond "Bruce Hagen" wrote in message ... See what you have set in Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options |

If you get this prompt without IE, or OE even opened, I have not seen this
before and am not sure of the cause. Watch for a reply from someone else, but since this post is 13 days old, you might want to repost in 24 hours if you don't get a response. Make sure if you do, that you include that you get this prompt without IE, or OE being opened. That threw me off. -- Bruce Hagen MS MVP - Outlook Express ~IB-CA~ "Steve Mc" wrote in message . ..
