Default Disable Outlook

Outlook has recently been opening instead of my hotmail when I click it from
msn messenger. How do I turn of outlook completely?

Windows version? MSN Messenger version? MS Outlook version?

If you click on Mail Read Mail in IE, does OL open or does www.hotmail.com
open? What should happen?
