I would be interested to learn if there is a method or programme that can
safely edit information in archived OE6 messages (eg inbox.dbx) without the danger of damaging the OE store. For example, a friend sent me a message that is erroneously dated by the server as 06/11/2020 and always appears as the latest message so I want to change the date to correct it. Also, sometimes I want to change the subject of a message received so the key words will be more obvious in case I want to search for the message in the future. Your advice would be apreciated. Kind Regards Chris |

Save the email to hard drive, open with NotePad, edit as desired and save.
Double click to open saved email, on File menu choose Copy to Folder.
