Hi everyone,
I just purchased a new Dell XPS with Norton Internet Security. I transferred my OE files from my old machine to my new one. OE seems to start OK, but it takes 7-8 seconds to switch folders and the same amount of time to open emails in the preview pane. I wasn't having any troubles on my old system running just Norton Antivirus, so I don't think I have any corrupted DBX files. I have compacted all the folders too. Would anyone know of any issues with Norton, or any other possible causes for such sluggishness? Thanks! Lynne |

It offers no additional protection and can cause the problems you are experiencing. I agree with Gerry. The best thing you can do is dump Norton for AVG or Avast!.
