Does closing and then reopening OE resolve the problem, at least
temporarily? Is McAfee Site Advisor installed? -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L.ORG http://66.39.69.143/ Joel wrote: Hi can someone please help with a problem with Outlook Express 6 I get through a couple of emails then I get an error message saying "Folder could not be displayed Outlook Express could not open this folder." See this long-running thread about this problem, Joel:
http://groups.google.com/group/micro...bfa92eb2640aab In short, uninstalling McAfee Site Advisor (free) via Add/Remove Programs should resolve the problem. After doing so, you should also run this McAfee removal tool: http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocumen... type=TS&ia=1 NB #1: If Site Advisor is installed as part of a McAfee suite (e.g., McAfee VirusScan Plus/Internet Security/Security Center), simply remove the Site Advisor component from the suite, don't uninstall the entire suite. NB #2: If you don't want to remove the entire McAfee suite, do NOT run the removal tool! -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE, OE, Security, Shell/User) AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L.ORG http://66.39.69.143/ Joel wrote: Yes Mcafee site is installed Does closing and then reopening OE resolve the problem, at least temporarily?
