Default Suddenly can't retrieve email

I have OE 6 and suddenly I can't retrieve my email through it on one
of my 3 different and unrelated email accounts. It comes up with the
following message:

The server responded with an error. Account:
'pop3.myservernamehere.net', Server: 'mail.myservernamehere.net',
Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid header in data', Port:
110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number:
0x800CCC90

By coincidence (or not), it started happening the day after my Norton
Anti Virus subscription ran out. I did install the Norton System
Works 2006 upgrade later but I still get the same error message when
trying to retrieve my email.

I can retrieve that same email from my work computer. Its at home
where I am suddenly having the problem.

Turn off email and spam scanning if it's set then testit again.

Also, it couldbe within one message. Do you have webmail with your ISP? If
so, log in there and check themail there, delete or forward them to
yourself. Then check to see if you cancheck email without errors.

That would be a start.
