Thanks, but no. the inbox had 70 unread mails, and no matter what I did, it
showed onlyr 8. Copied to a different identity, saved and imported, but only 8 mails were seen by OE. The inbox was corrupted, I downloaded DBexpress, and worked on the saved inbox.dbx, and got back my 4200 mails. The mail which I was opening when the disaster happened was not recovered correctly : the attachments were save as separate emails. Anyway, DBExpress worked for me. Thanks again.
