Occasionally I want to save an email, but not all the gig- eating pictures
attached. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks

If it is only occasionally, you can click Forward, delete the attachment and
the original message info. Ctrl+S will save it to Drafts, where you can move
it to your archiving folder. Close Forward without sending. Note that if you
do it this way, the date and time will change to when you clicked Forward.

The nicest way to remove the attachments without changing anything is with
this tool.

Yeah, change email programs and use Thunderbird, http://www.mozilla.com/
As you can see from Bruce's post, with OE, it isn't easy. With
Thunderbird, you just remove them.
